Practical information for training courses

General information
  • Report to the reception desk half an hour before the starting time of the course.
  • Start and conclusion times of courses: 8.30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Paper and writing materials supplied.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available on site.
  • Sandwich lunch supplied.
  • Course materials sent to participants.
  • Certificate of participation with the result achieved is sent to the participant by mail.
Our practical training rooms

Our experts give training in unique training rooms where ENGIE technicians also undergo training. High- and low-voltage practice networks under safety current are in place, as well as the highest safety standards. This allows course participants to put their training straight into use. These practical training rooms are located in Kallo and Jumet.

Training centre Scaldis in Kallo:
  • 75 m2 of practical rooms.
  • Powered network with nine high-voltage cabinets and some low-voltage installations.
  • Didactic material: five circuits including open material to enable insight into the different types of internal circuits.
  • All personal protective equipment is shown, discussed and worn during practical exercises.

Training centre in Jumet:

  • 300 m2 of practical rooms.
  • Powered network with seven high-voltage cabinets and three low-voltage installations.
  • Didactic material: includes diverse circuit breakers, fuses and transformers.
  • All personal protective equipment is shown, discussed and worn during practical exercises.
